its a wrap @ #MBFWAFRICA 2012
I watched #MBFWAFRICA 2012 through the eyes of many twitter, facebook, lockers, twitpic, tumblr, enthusiasts and it was fun, so thank you all! The final image I am sharing was taken by the amazing South African photographer Jacquin Botha. It captures designer Fred Sathal's vision but for me it sums up what I believe is the future of the fashion industry that will be headlined by colour!

T A I B O • B A C A R crowned at #MBFWAFRICA 2012
It's easy to see why TAIBO BACAR has been crowned Emerging Designer of the Year @ the #MBFWAFRICA 2012. I've loved his work for a while now and have been shouting out about his amazing talent. I love the detail in his work, its crafted to perfection. Great shoe collection, as well as all the other accessories.

Arise Magazine African Icons @ #MBFW S/S 2013
At their 5th New York Fashion Week show, Arise Magazine presented some of the top Africa Icons of fashion. Need we say L.O.V.E?
TIFFANY AMBER - She's done it again! Look at those prints and frills.
TSEMAYE BINITIE - his star has been on the rise for sometime now and we can honestly say we are as excited for Tsemaye Binitie as he is for himself. Feels like we've been on this journey with him. Huge congratulations!
MAKI OH - Love the delicacy of her designs, the sophisticated elegance and of course the beautifully customised prints. This is a designer who dresses you!
GAVIN RAJAH - blown away by Rajah's gold pieces. The detailed material and tasteful designs have left us wondering why we haven't talked enough about this South African designer? Fall in love!
OZWALD BOATENG - Gentlemen please! With Ozwald you can not expect less. Loved the vibrant colours, mix of cuts, prints, styling and of course that whole tailored look he is famous for!

New York! Thats what dreams are made of! - L.A.M.B
L.A.M.B Spring & Fall 2010 by the amazing fashionasta Gwen Stefani
Showing at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Stefani's collection featured Black, White & Asian models. A healthy mix of people we think. Ranging from maxi dresses to the African print, L.A.M.B is a definite favourite. Particulary love the 'grey, blue & orange sunset' backgrounds.
