September was such a busy month for me in work that I didn't get an opportunity to blog about my fashion favs during fashion week(s). Anyhoooo, here we go! I absolutely loved a lot of designers but I chose a few to share with you guys [see labels below for designer names]. Big bows, pleated skirts, army greens, Anna Wintour + more!

DAVID TLALE: MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK S/S15 COLLECTIONS

Never too late to say CONGRATULATIONS to David Tlale for creating yet another STORM of a collection and of course generating the well deserved publicity (great PR agency btw!) after last year's saga with People's Revolution!

Loving the #African & #English/Victorian influence on the collection. Great colours, prints and textures!

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK •• DAVID TLALE S/S14 [WITHOUT PEOPLE'S REVOLUTION]

I have often wondered what it costs to put together a fashion show in NYC! Well now we all know, well sort of. Kelly Cutrone supposedly pulled the plugged off the DAVID TLALE S/S14 show @ #NYFW after her company [People's Revolution] were not paid their $15K fee for producing the show.

That's a whooping lotta dollar for a show! Needless to say the show went on. Trust in the #TLALE power!

JoBurg Fashion Week - David Tlale style

Nelson Mandela Bridge Catwalk
David Tlale turned the Nelson Mandela bridge in to a catwalk spectacular at the weekend to showcase his Autumn/ Winter 2011 collection - at the JoBurg Fashion Week. This was a spectacular collection of 92 looks, each representing a year in the life of Madiba Nelson Mandela. The most anticipated collection featured checkered fabrics & chiffon. The colours of the collection were red, black & white - this telling a story of its own.

David Tlale - this guy is super talented! I am always blown away by his amazing talent! Whether, it's the all Black Collection or the all Green Collection - his elegance shines through. He is the stylish Designer who won the Designer of the Year 2009/2010 award alongside Folake Folarin - Coker of Tiffany Amber Nigeria. He has also shown off his amazing talent at the prestigous Paris Fashion Week & Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week, only to mention a few. He dressed Supermodel Jourdan Dunn at the Virgin Mobile Capetown Fashion Week in 2008, confirming him as South Africa's hottest talent! This guy has a vision and I could probably go on and on but for more on his work, check him out!
